DRA family house is a unique housing project designed by Querkraft Architects using steel construction suspended over 2/3 of the site in A-1160 wien, Austria. An exceptional view over the city - a small site, on which building guidelines permitted building only in its centre - a slope, too steep for concrete mixers to reach: the frame structure for a daring proposal, up to 2/3 cantilevered out. under the house lies an additional open space. the aluminium skin envelopes both the building and the balcony.
a cellar (concrete) in the hillside as plinth, a skeleton ( steel) as the supporting structure, a skin (aluminium) as the wrapping element.consultants
